Thank you for your interest in my cakes! I live in the St. John's region of Newfoundland & Labrador. I've always adored baking and became interested in cake decorating after having our first child. My love for it grew further when my mother in law gave me a complete set of decorating tools! I took four cake decorating courses and loved every class! All of my cakes and icings are made from scratch.

Girl on the Way! - This cake was for a baby shower where the expectant Mom is having a baby girl to be named Morgan Suzanne and the nursery is decorated with a Winnie the Pooh theme. The bottom cake is a 10 inch round marble (chocolate/vanilla) double layer cake and the cake inside the crib is a rectangular white butter cake. The cake is iced in all vanilla butter cream icing. The crib railings are made from gum paste and the baby blanket draped over the crib is made from fondant. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet are hand modeled from fondant/gum paste. (May, 2009)
